I have experiment the effect the writing the same word by using different pen. I choose the 5th sketches to continue the following task.

I use the same pen and same writing style that i choose before to write more word for the following digitization.

Digitization

I set the guidelines before the digitization.

I use the same strokes to digitize the word. After this, I start to customize it to makes it more looks like my sketches.

After I done my digitization, I use font lab to create my font.

After I done the with the kerning part, I export it and name it as 'Calli'. I will use this font to make a poster.

I use Calli to make this poster. The 'C' at the top is used to present as a moon to shows that it is at night.

REFLECTIONS

Experience
Undertaking this task has been a transformative experience, allowing me to delve into the intricacies of crafting meaningful visual messages through typography. Navigating the creative process, from ideation to execution, has not only sharpened my design skills but has also deepened my understanding of effective communication. Collaborating with peers and receiving constructive feedback has enriched my learning, fostering a dynamic environment that encourages innovation and thoughtful expression in the realm of type design.

Observation
This task has unveiled the intricate connection between visual elements and effective communication, highlighting the pivotal role typography plays in conveying messages. It encourages a meticulous consideration of letterforms and design choices, emphasizing the significance of precision and intentionality in typographic creations.

Findings
Engaging in this task has broadened my understanding of the intricate relationship between typography and effective communication. Through this academic endeavor, I've come to appreciate the nuanced artistry involved in crafting typefaces, recognizing their pivotal role in conveying messages with visual impact.
